How I Work

Using a psychodynamic approach, I help you make sense of the unconscious feelings, conflicts and relational patterns that may be shaping your current experience. This can be particularly helpful when emotions feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to talk about with others.

Whether you are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, recovering from a traumatic birth, or navigating fears around childbirth, therapy offers a private space to feel understood and supported. As an NHS Specialist Midwife I have knowledge and experience of maternity services which enrich my understanding as a perinatal therapist.

I offer a free short consultation so you can ask questions and get a feel for how therapy with me might be.

I have a Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked as a specialist NHS midwife for over ten years, working with, and having specialist training in, pregnancy loss, TOP, birth trauma, tokophobia and fertility issues .

I am registered with the BACP and NMC.
